FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: safety coupling contains casing, made composite, out of right and left halves, connected by bolted joint; driven shaft, rigidly secured on the left half of the casing; drive shaft with half-coupling, secured on free end of the shaft inside the casing by key. The drive shaft is installed in right and left halves of casing in bearings. Left half of coupling and half-coupling have holes, made by single run, in which in left half of coupling by thread joint the permanent magnets are installed, and in half-coupling balls are installed.

EFFECT: simplified design.
