FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sprayer (7) for cleaning the surface (1a) of a camera (1) lens includes a path (11a), (11b) for a cleaning liquid which directs a cleaning liquid into an outlet opening (10a), (10b), and air channel (12) which directs compressed air into the outlet opening (10a), (10b). Distal end portions of the path for the cleaning liquid and the air channel are situated next to each other or are merged with each other. When cleaning the lens surface (1a), compressed air is intermittently ejected in a jet from the outlet opening and the cleaning liquid is sucked due to negative pressure resulting from the ejection of the jet of compressed air in order to intermittently eject a jet of the cleaning liquid from the outlet opening, thereby cleaning the lens surface (1a).
EFFECT: improved quality of lens cleaning.
