SUBSTANCE: invention particularly relates to clock mechanisms. The invention relates to assembling an element (15) made of a first material with a component (3) made of a second material without a plasticity region, which includes the following steps: a) forming a component (3) with an opening; b) inserting a radially expanded portion (7) of an element (15) into the opening without generating stress; c) elastically and plastically deforming the expanded portion (7) of the element in the opening by moving two instruments (13, 21) towards each other in an axial direction respectively on the upper and lower parts of the expanded portion to generate radial stress (B) on the wall of the component (3) surrounding the opening to cause elastic deformation of the component (3) to fix the unit without breaking the component.
EFFECT: eliminating breaking stress in a component, even if the component is made, for example, from monocrystalline silicon.
