FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to methods and facilities for physical therapy, and is applicable for electrical stimulation of nerve and muscular tissue. An electrical stimulator comprises a pulse generator, stimulating electrodes, an intensity controller, an exposure pulse shaper, a key with adjustable output amplitude, a differentiating circuit, an amplifier, and a transformer. The exposure pulse shaper comprises a repeater mounted on an operating amplifier. The key with adjustable output amplitude represents a transistor circuit-connected to a common emitter with an inverse active mode. The differentiating circuit consists of a capacitor, a resistor and a diode. The amplifier represents a cascade consisting of the operating amplifier, resistors and transistors. An output of the intensity controller is connected to an input of the repeater; an output of the pulse generator is connected to a first input of the key; an output of the repeater is connected to a second input of the key; an output of the key is connected to an input of the differentiating circuit; an output of the differentiating circuit is connected to an input of the amplifier; an output of the amplifier is connected to an input of the transformer, and an output of the transformer is connected to the stimulating electrodes.
EFFECT: using the invention provides stimulating pulses, a shape of which is as close as possible to that of action potential, and hence an increase in electrical stimulation effectiveness.
