SUBSTANCE: said lithium reagent composition represents an aqueous solution containing a compound having a structure presented by formula (I), water-miscible organic solvent specified in dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO), dimethyl formamide (DMF) and dimethyl acetamide (DMA), and pH modifier for providing a pH value from 5 to 12; the concentration of the compound of formula (I) makes from 0.1 to 1.0 g/l. There are also described a set of reagents for measuring a lithium amount in biological samples, as well as a method for measuring a lithium amount in biological samples.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables measuring a lithium amount quickly or immediately with using a standard colorimeter.
