FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of speed optimisation of the drill but hydraulically or pneumatically driven by the rotor and stator, during drilling of the wellbore in rocks. At that the method includes: (a) measurement of the first set of operation parameters of the rotor and stator, including load applied to the drilling bit, rotor speed and torque for the first time period, (b) generation of the first set of ratios from the first set of the operation parameters to ensure forecast of the rotor speed and torque in range of values of the operation parameters, (c) determination of the drilling speed for the first time period based on the change of the load applied to the drilling bit, and speed of rotation, (d) following determination: weather any other combination of load applied to the bit, and bit speed determined by the ratios determined at stage (b) can ensure higher drilling speed, and (e) regulation of at least one operation parameter to change the load applied to the bit, and/or bit speed towards the combination ensuring first higher drilling speed.
EFFECT: drilling optimisation.
