FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in launch stations (LS). The LS comprises a self-propelled chassis, a pack of tubular barrels mounted on the extension-type artillery element, a device of gas jet removal and protection of the end part of the pack of barrels, made in the form of a shovel-shaped shield which is surfaces of second order of parabolic type, a device of partial quenching flame, a rangefinder, and an altimeter in the form of a computing device, pneumatic cylinders with rods. The inner surfaces of the shovel-shaped shield comprise an arrester of flame and gas jet and are made in the form of layers of mesh grid structure of a heat resistant, refractory, durable material with a high coefficient of heat absorption and low coefficient of sliding friction.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve the efficiency of LS and use it as a hail protection device for artificial rain fall.
