FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: navigation radio-optical directional corner reflector is a trihedral corner reflector with triangular faces, at the vertex of which there is a light source in the form of a semiconductor light-emitting diode. The light source is powered by a DC power supply and is controlled by an automatic signalling light controller which provides constant or intermittent illumination of the light-emitting diode with automatic on and off turning depending on the illumination of the area.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities owing to simultaneous operation of the radio-optical corner reflector not only in the optical wavelength range, thereby providing directed signalling light during night time, but also operation in the radar range as a passive electromagnetic wave reflector.
