FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: bit for rotary drilling contains a body with a threaded nipple and blades reinforced by inclined cutters, the front sides of which are made with grooves with a variable cross section. The cutters are implemented in the form of semi-cylinders and the grooves on their front side - with the cross section increasing from the face towards the threaded nipple. Upper parts of the grooves are interconnected by an additional groove made on the external surface of the blade and located directly above the cutters.
EFFECT: bit operating efficiency improvement.
