FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: ash pulp carbon afterburning in pulverised coal boiler involves pulp dehydration by screw conveyor transportation from tank upwards at an angle, towards gas cooler inlet. Pulp is dehydrated during transportation due to water drain through screw conveyor hollows, then the ash dried in gas coolers is fed together with gaseous carrier by inert gas exhaust through inert gas nozzles into the narrow part of cold funnel for ash carbon afterburning mainly in spouted boiling bed of the cold funnel and in combustion chamber of furnace.
EFFECT: fuel saving, reduced nitrogen oxide emission to air, enhanced reliability of pulverised coal firing.
