FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: plant for testing of earth foundations by axisymmetric foundation models with the purpose to research their deformability by the visual observation of fixed point movements in the earth foundation through a transparent screen in the process of submersion (withdrawal) of the axisymmetric foundation models comprises a working tray of a cylindrical shape, made of a half of a pipe, produced as a result of a solid pipe cutting into halves along the axis of symmetry, to which a transparent detachable vertical wall is attached, made of thickened organic glass with framing metal elements reinforced in the upper part by a horizontal truss. The stiff base for installation is a bed plate made of two horizontal channels. In order to exclude glass deformations in the process of testing a press frame and a press truss are installed and fixed on the vertical wall before the start of the experiment. The load at the axisymmetric foundation model is transmitted with the help of an operating lever through a load-aligning accessory, comprising a vertical guide and a power accessory, moving along the guide, providing for the installation of two force measure devices (or other recording instruments). As a reference system for the fixation of deflectometers, a frame structure is used, not connected to the elements of structures participating in loading of the axisymmetric foundation model. In the structure there is a rotary hinged joint to rotate the tray up to 90 degrees.
EFFECT: provision of visual observation over movements of fixed points in an earth foundation in the process of submersion of the axisymmetric models of foundations during the research of their deformability.
