FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: torpedo comprises a warhead, a control system, a motor, and the energy store for it. The torpedo has a shape of a cylindrical body with an inner channel in the form of a Venturi nozzle. In another embodiment, the torpedo is pre-blown from inside with gas overpressure. In another embodiment, the torpedo has a system for maintaining overpressure inside. The system consists of a gas cylinder, a safety valve, and a reducer connected to the outboard space. In another embodiment, the entire free space inside the torpedo is filled with liquid. In another embodiment, the entire free space of the torpedo is filled with molten material. In another embodiment, the torpedo has a shape of a cylindrical body with an inner channel in the form of a Venturi nozzle or a confuser, the cylindrical portion and diffuser continuously passing into each other. The confuser has a shape of an ellipsoid of revolution or a paraboloid of revolution, and in its focus there is a receiver and/or transmitter of sonar waves.

EFFECT: increased speed and action range of the torpedo.
