FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method includes navigation objects emitting a first high-frequency harmonic signal; receiving said signal at multiple reference radio navigation points with known coordinates, wherein the navigation objects, along with the first signal, additionally emit a second high-frequency harmonic signal which differs on frequency from the first signal by a given value; at each of the reference radio navigation points, from the received high-frequency signals, generating differential frequency signals and transmitting said signals to a central processing station, where the phase differences of differential frequency signals received from different reference radio navigation points are measured, and the measurement results, based on the mutual location of the reference radio navigation points, the central processing station and the value of the differential frequency, are converted to coordinates of the navigation objects; wherein high-frequency signals from any navigation object are emitted during a limited time interval which is sufficient for measuring the phase difference of differential frequency signals, and only if no high-frequency signals are emitted from other navigation objects before the beginning of said time interval.
EFFECT: enabling simultaneous estimation of coordinates of multiple navigation objects, as well as high accuracy of determining coordinates of navigation objects and noise-immunity of equipment carrying out the method.
