FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in case of low temperature of the accumulator battery charging current is first supplied for heating of the accumulator battery and only when its temperature exceeds minimum value the battery will be charged with the rated current value. In process of accumulator batteries charging charge level is controlled either against voltage of accumulator batteries or voltage of each accumulator battery, at that charging current is redirected either to heaters or to charger depending on temperature of the accumulator battery. Temperature-sensitive resistors included into composition of the autonomous power supply system of spacecraft determine temperature of the accumulator battery and compare the obtained value with the preset ones.
EFFECT: higher reliability of accumulator battery protection.
