FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foamed polyurethane substrate suitable for production of abrasive article with coating. Sais foamed polyurethane features the textured surface built around the matrix composed of bulged elements and flat sections. Matrix geometry is designed for acceptable force of breakoff of the working element from the textured surface applied at the 90° angle. Note here that the working element contact surface consists of multiple micro-replicated moulded cavities.
