FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of corroded copper and bronze as the secondary stock and to evaluation of the stability of materials at their ingress into acid media, and can be used in various branches, for analytical control, scientific research, diagnostics, etc. Claimed process comprises bringing the article with corrosion products in contact with diluted hydrochloric acid at intensive mechanical mixing and air bubbling. Said process is conducted at self-heating and control over accumulation of copper (II) compounds and addition of acid to get a thickened suspension. Then, said mixing and air bubbling are terminated. Volumetric phase is separated from unreacted copper or its alloy and divided into the solid and liquid phases. Clarified liquid phase is brought to initial content of acid and water to perform the other contact with unreacted copper or its alloy. Above described process is started and reiterated at least 5-7 times.
EFFECT: accelerated processing, enhanced performances.
