FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing precipitated silicon dioxide. Method involves reacting a silicate with an acid, as a result, a suspension of silicon dioxide, then it is separated and dried. Reaction is carried out in two stages. At the first obtaining an aqueous suspension of precipitated silicon dioxide at pH from 2.5 to 5.3. At the second obtained suspension is brought into contact with acid and silicate so that to maintain pH from 2.5 to 5.3. At the first and/or second stage concentrated acid is used.
EFFECT: reduced amount of consumed power and/or water used in producing precipitated silicon dioxide.
