FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to immunology, and can be used to create an immune stimulating composition. The immune stimulating composition contains mannans; at least 75% of mannans have weight more than approximately 1000 kDa. The group of inventions provides using this composition in methods for inducing an immune response in an individual, and conducting a gene therapy, as well as methods for producing the above composition.
EFFECT: using this group of inventions makes it possible to produce the composition containing a population of mannans with a certain size of more than 1000 kDa and having higher immune stimulating activity, than that containing mannans of lower molecular weight or full-size mannans.
