FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in servo drives, in automatic control systems of mobile objects in robotics. Method comprises excitation of primary winding of sine-cosine rotary transformer with harmonic voltage generator, reading modulated sine and cosine signals from output windings of sine-cosine rotary transformer, changing amplitude of said signals, detection, conversion into digital form and recording received signals in a recorder. Amplitude of signals obtained from output windings of sine-cosine rotary transformer, prior to their conversion into digital form is decreased so that their values are less than voltage amplitude signal generated by harmonic generator, obtained signals are summed up with harmonic voltage generator, detected by amplitude detector and filtered.

EFFECT: technical result is elimination of effect of instability excitation frequency on measurement accuracy of drive shaft turn angle and more reliable obtained discharges binary codes sine and cosine of measured angle in digital registers.
