FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to armored combat vehicles. Tank comprises chassis, armored shell, and armament. Tank has an armored shell with chassis and, optionally, with a turret, and another armored shell with chassis rigidly connected to the first shell so that it encloses the first one from front and both sides. Second armored shell may enclose the first one partially from above and, optionally, from below. Second armored shell in plan view is U-shaped or horseshoe-shaped, it also has its duplicated engine and transmission and can move independently with the driver sitting inside in the folding attached temporary seat. Driver can control the second armored shell using remote control. In the first armored shell, the compartment containing the engine and transmission is located under the fighting compartment - between caterpillar tracks. In the second armored shell, the compartments containing the engines, fuel and transmission are located in its rear side parts from inside. Tank has a lightweight armored tambour or a detachable section behind the first armored shell. Tank may have electric transmission and motorized wheels. Second armored shell is attached to the first one with the conical dowels intruding into conical openings.

EFFECT: increased tank hardness.
