FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulse engineering and can be used to design automation apparatus and functional units of control systems. Technical result consists in simplification of circuit connections and reduced hardware complexity time interval selector. Time interval selector is intended for selection from sequence (τ1, …, τn) components τ(r), which occupies a given r-e (r∈{1, …, n}) place in respect to the order τ(1)≤…≤τ(n), the obtained non-decreasing ranging component τ1, …, τn, where τ1, …, τn is the time intervals defined by duration of leading edge synchronised positive pulse signals x1, …, xn∈{0, 1}, and can be used in automatic regulation and control systems as an information preprocessing means. Time interval selector comprises a read-only memory (1), n-1 closing switches (21, …, 2,n-1) and n-1 opening switches (31, …, 3,n-1).
EFFECT: due to the above elements do not intersect their connection and less value of hardware complexity.
