FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and mining industry, namely to blast furnace taphole drill bits, and also for impact-rotary drilling blast-hole fine wells. Percussion-rotary drilling bit includes body with through axial hole, wings, separated by longitudinal and radial channels connected with axial bore. In wings there are blind radial grooves where flush with side surface of wings there are inserts. Slots in wings are made with advance angle on 7-10° relative to radius of bit. Radial channels are made with rectangular cross-section. Angle between axis of radial channels and adjacent plate is less than half angle between adjacent plates.
EFFECT: technical result is longer service life and higher drilling speed.
