FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to screw centrifuge control torque at input of screw centrifuge geared shaft. Auger centrifuge with solid rotor for processing of drilling mud with rotating drum and with rotary screw has driving device to drive drum and screw with drive motor and reduction gear unit for creation of gear ratio between drum rotation speeds and screw during centrifuge operation. At that, reduction gear unit inlet reducing shaft is rigidly fixed without possibility of rotation by means of reloading lever made with possibility of changing shape in case of overload torque. Reloading lever, one end of radially remote from axis of rotation of reduction gear input shaft is detachably connected directly to inlet gear shaft or with part rigidly connected without possibility of rotation with inlet gear shaft. Method for control of torque at screw centrifuge input gear shaft with solid rotor during treatment of drilling mud has following stages: a) cleaning of drilling mud, if torque screw centrifuge with solid rotor lower than first limit value, b) at least one working parameter of screw centrifuge with solid rotor, if torque reaches first limit value or exceeds it, c) disconnection of screw centrifuge with solid rotor if torque reaches second limit value or exceeds it, and d) automatic or controlled actuation of protection against overload torque, if change of torque moment in time exceeds limit value dM/dt.

EFFECT: providing protection against overload torque on fixed shaft, as well as stops centrifuge only in case of emergency failure.
