FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and can be used for conversion of wind energy to electrical energy. A segmental wind electric generator includes rotary ferromagnetic elements installed on blades of a wind wheel, a stator, a tower, a housing with a turning base, a hub, a guide tail device and struts of the stator. A drive of translational fixed movement with a stock and hinges is installed between the housing and the stator. Attachment of the stator struts to the housing is of a hinge type.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows control of excitation of a constant magnet within low limits, implementation in one device of control functions and high reliability of excitation systems with constant magnets.
