FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to adjustment of air pressure in hermetically sealed cabin of aircraft during depressurisation and a system implementing said method. In order to adust air pressure in a sealed aircraft cabin, method includes measuring absolute and gauge pressure of air in aircraft cabin, and determining error value given and measured values with respect to atmospheric pressure and rate of change of absolute air pressure in cabin, forming a control action when a mismatch, comparing current rate of pressure change with a maximum permissible exercise forced air pressure control upon exceeding maximum permissible value. Pressure regulator comprises a flow part, two working elements in form of a gate, two drive systems with two electric motors each, a feedback device from position of working element with two channels, a unit of pressure sensors with two sensitive elements, arbiter, units of control of serviceability, standby channel, two multiplex channels controller, two intellectual channels, service channel, onboard system of upper level, control unit, electronic switch, connected in a certain manner.
EFFECT: maintaining pressure in hermetically sealed cabin within allowable limits.
