FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determining properties of multicomponent complex alloyed heat-resistant melts, based on studying of torsional vibrations of cylindrical crucible with melt. Invention comprises determining temperature dependence of properties of sample melt to obtain values in form of electric signals, values of temperature dependency are supplied to input of first differentiating device, with its output of differentiated signals are removed, then, differentiated signals are supplied to one of inputs of comparator unit, characterised by that a second differentiator, one of inputs of which has a function of adjustment of threshold signal, output signal of differentiating device in form of second derivative is converted into output signals, leading edge of first turns on pulse count, and rear edge of latter switched off pulse count in range of temperatures between temperature hysteresis tg and abnormal tan, number of pulses, which corresponds to value of change of measured properties, in said temperature range Δt determined maximum signals of first differentiating device (Δρ/Δt)max by means of their peak detector with subsequent storage maximum value, after switching off account of sample heating temperature is increased at increasing temperature values and value of measured properties of melt up to value of critical temperature tcr then cooling sample is continued study properties up to crystallisation, after which value of previously stored maximum (Δρ/Δt)max = Kips in form of structural adjustment factor Kips of melt fixed as characteristic of melt.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of obtaining additional information on melt, obtaining quantitative parameter of intensity of structural adjustment of heat-resistant melts.
