FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents method of measuring magnetic field and can be used in magnetic deflecting systems. During implementation of method magnito monoaxial optically transparent plate weak ferromagnetic material, placed between DC voltage source connected to Helmholtz coils switched on accordingly pairwise, is placed between electromagnets to create straight blast boundary in uniformly magnetized blast field of Helmholtz coils. When Helmholtz coils are switched on blast boundary shifts. Then gradient magnetic field with known value is generated, which compensates for magnetic field generated by coils.

EFFECT: high sensitivity and accuracy and simple process of measuring parameters of magnetic fields of coils of magnetic deflecting systems.
