SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for distillation of hydrocarbons, which comprises: feeding a hydrocarbon stream to a fractionation zone at a first location; fractionating hydrocarbon feed stream to form an overhead stream and a bottom stream; heating first portion of overhead stream to a temperature above condensation temperature of overhead stream; compressing heated first portion of overhead stream; removing a portion of flow fractionation zone at a second location, which is located below first location; heating removed portion of stream by indirect contact with distal portion of compressed first stream part of overhead stream; returning heated stream to a remote part of a fractionation zone in a third location, which is located above second and below first location; reducing pressure of compressed first part of overhead stream to form an overhead stream of reduced pressure; return of top stream of low pressure top fractionation zone; wherein heating first portion of overhead stream comprises indirect contact of first part of condensed overhead stream from first part of overhead stream after indirect contact with distal portion of compressed first stream part of overhead stream and to reduce pressure of said compressed first portion of overhead stream.
EFFECT: use of present method enables more efficient use of disclosed system.
