FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to high-speed ships. High-speed ship with redan at bottom is equipped with, along with main propulsors, an auxiliary propulsor. Latter is arranged in shaft located above redan, and can be moved vertically in said shaft. Design of auxiliary propulsor is composed of screw propeller, combined with motor of circular type. Redan section located under bottom hole of shaft is adapted for movement at bottom along length of ship.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce energy costs for operation of ship propulsion in mode of its full stroke.
