FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical area of tangential separation using filtration elements. Filtration element (I) for filtering fluids contains rigid porous substrate (1) with cylindrical form, having central longitudinal axis (A) and multiple channels (C01, C11, C12,…C21, C22…Cn1, Cn2…) for circulating filtered fluid to collect filtrate at substrate periphery (11), made in substrate (1) parallel to its central axis (A), whereupon said channels (C01, C11, C12,…C21, C22…Cn1, Cn2…) form, in particular, filtration rings (F1, F2…Fn) at least in amount of three, in each of them:
- channels (C11, C12,…C21, C22…Cn1, Cn2…) have noncircular direct cross-section, whereupon direct cross-section of each channel has symmetry axis (X, X1,…Xn, X11,…X21…, Xn1…), which passes through substrate center,
- two neighbour channels are separated by connecting passes (P, P1, P2,…Pn, P11,…P21…, Pn1…), whereupon said connecting passes (P, P1, P2,…Pn, P11,…P21…, Pn1…) have symmetry axis (Y, Y1, Y2…Yn, Y11,…Y21…, Yn1…), which passes through substrate center,
- all ratio between hydraulic diameters of any two channels (C11, C12,…C21, C22…Cn1, Cn2…) of filtration rings are within the range of 0.75-1.25, preferably within the range of 0.95-1.05, whereupon said filtration rings (F1, F2…Fn) are located in concentricity and separated from each other by solid porous area (F1, F2…Fn-1) without mutual penetration between two adjacent rings, whereupon at the level of three rings closest to substrate periphery, called the rings of n, n-1 and n-2 row, there is at least one alignment between three adjacent axes among axes (Y, Y1, Y2…Yn, Y11,…Y21…, Yn1…) of connecting passes and axes (X, X1…Xn, X11, …X21…, Xn1…) of channels, which ensures mechanical strength of substrate, whereupon, if filtration element has more than three filtration rings, then among three rings closest to substrate periphery, called the rings of n, n-1 and n-2 row, there is at least one ring in which the number of channels is not multiple to the number of channels of ring closest to substrate center called ring of 1 row.
EFFECT: increased area of channels to provide for filtration of fluids.
