SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as source of chaotic electromagnetic oscillations. Generator of chaotic oscillations comprises first and second dipole elements with capacitive resistance, double-pole element with inductive resistance, resistor, non-linear impedance converter and linear device with negative resistance.

EFFECT: enabling generating of random signal containing alternating chaotic oscillations of two different types-irregularly repetitive short pulses with random amplitude and phase and alternating with them wavetrains of damped high-frequency oscillations with random phase and duration.
