SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication devices for contactless near field communication. Communication device comprises storage unit, receiving unit and transmission unit. Transmission unit may send first application activation information, and second application activation information, each of which is activation information stored in storage unit, on external device, which have transmitted request, regardless of whether request received by receiving unit, a request from first external device or from second external device. First application activation information is described by format compatible with first control program, and second application activation information is described by format compatible with the second control program.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of activation of application on a communication terminal by obtaining from electronic device activation information which is compatible with its operating system.
