FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for mixing of light for medical or dental illumination device, in particular for light curing unit for polymerisation of dental masses. Device includes housing with light-generating device, as well as light guide. Device (2) for mixing light contains element (8) for mixing of light in form of rod with preferably at least one transparent material, particularly glass, as well as holder (7) through which device (2) for mixing of light is fixed between device (1) for generating light and light guide (3) and is retained by light guide (3) in position separately from it.
EFFECT: technical result is providing uniform brightness and spectral distribution of light guide output and reduced losses.
