FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means to improve the intelligibility and natural sounding audio tracks in acoustic noise environment. Technical result is to increase the intelligibility and naturalness of sound audio tracks in acoustic noise environment by reducing the effect of masking the useful sound unsteady acoustic noise by using frequency-dependent adaptive gain. Useful signal arriving at the processing unit, and the acoustic noise signal conditions coming from the surrounding space in the processing unit, is divided into frames. Processing unit is administered analysis filterbank and a synthesis filter bank which produces the subband decomposition of the useful signal and noise signal of acoustic environment and, accordingly, a composition of modified subband amplitude dependency of the useful signal after processing by the compressor. When the subband decomposition energy is calculated in each subband of the useful signal and noise signal sound environment. As the compressor processing unit using adaptive dynamic range compressor (AKDD) which alter the dynamic range of the useful signal.
EFFECT: signals in the subbands desired signal multiplied by a gain.
