SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to additive extraction unit, filter for smoking product, which includes additive extraction unit; smoking product, which includes additive extraction unit, and method for manufacture of additive extraction unit. Additive extraction unit for smoking product includes band, containing first sheet of material and second sheet of material, between which one or more discrete portions of additive contained, connected to first sheet of material, and unit is configured to provide selective release of additive portions. Method for manufacture of additive extracting unit for smoking product, wherein at least one portion of additive is prepared: first sheet of material and second sheet material are prepared, at least one portion of additive is connected to first sheet, at that between first and second sheets of material one or more discrete portions of additive contained, and first sheet of material is laminated over second sheet of material to form tape around additive.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is improvement of additive extraction unit for smoking product.
