FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: plate heat exchanger (2) containing first (4), second frame plate (6), first number of side walls (8, 10, 12, 14) and stack (18) of heat exchange plates (20). Each heat exchange plate has central section (40) and peripheral section (42), surrounding central section, and they are arranged in pairs between first and second frame plates and essentially parallel to them. First path (F1) for first fluid medium flow is formed between heat exchange plates, and second path (F2) for second fluid medium flow is formed between pairs of heat exchange plates. Side walls extending between first and second frame plates and form pack of heat exchange plates. First side wall (10, 74) of side walls, having internal surface (62, 78) facing to package of heat exchange plates provided with through hole (60, 76) for removal of substances from inside to outside of plate heat exchanger, wherein substance is formed from one of first and second fluids.
EFFECT: plate heat exchanger is characterised by that, at least, first section (64a, 78a) of inner surface of first side wall is inclined towards hole to facilitate removal of substance.
