SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of ceramic mixtures, which can be used in making facing tiles. Ceramic mixture for making facing tiles contains, wt. white-burning clay 46.0-49.0; kaolin 30.0-33.0; quartz sand 7.0-9.0; bone ash 5.0-7.0; calcium phosphate 3.0-4.0; quartz glass 3.0-4.0. For preparation of the ceramic mixture can be used quality white-burning clays and kaolins of any deposits, for example clay of Veselovsky deposit, characterised by following chemical composition, wt %: SiO₂ 47.6-55.5; TiO₂ 0.9-1.4; Al₂O₃ 28.0-35.5; Fe₂O₃ 0.6-0.9; CaO 0.6-1.5; MgO 0.2-0.7; K₂O 1.7-2.3; Na₂O 0.4-0.6; losses on ignition. 8.5-10.1; kaolin from Prosyanovsky deposit, characterised by following chemical composition, wt %: SiO₂ 46.02-46.5; TiO₂ 0.47-0.52; Al₂O₃ 38.69-40.17; Fe₂O₃ 0.55-0.92; CaO 0.05-0.19; losses on ignition. 13.34-13.97.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is higher strength of articles made from ceramic mixture.
