METHOD FOR MULTI-JUNCTION SERIAL STAMPING IN BELT-STRIP WORKPIECE AND DEVICE THEREFOR Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC B21D37/08 B21D43/04

Abstract RU 2591023 C2

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly to a method of multipass sequential forming of workpieces from tape. Method includes punching one hole in strip workpiece or simultaneously punch more than one hole with distance between said holes which is equal to feed pitch value. Workpiece is fed by its gripping and movement of feed mechanism with grips. Catcher is introduced into hole first on part of length of its pointed end, then, workpiece is released from feed mechanism. Catcher is then introduced in hole beyond pointed end and stamping is carried out. Gripping mechanisms are moved into starting position. Then cycle is repeated.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of sizes of component.
