FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of preventing precipitation of mineral salts, corrosion and can be used in water treatment systems, where water is used as coolant, heat carrier, hydro transport. Method for prevention of mineral deposits and corrosion is performed by adding of organophosphonate to treated medium. As organophosphonate is hexamethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid (HMDTP) and its metal complexonates of nickel and cobalt in molar ratio of HMDTP: metal complexonates of nickel and cobalt 2.5:1 and molar ratio of nickel and cobalt complexonates is 0.75:0.25-0.25-0.75 respectively.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of scaling and corrosion inhibition in systems with high salt content at high temperatures.
