FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of loose mixtures by shape, density, elasticity and properties of surface and can be used in agriculture for cleaning grain crops and processing products thereof. Device comprises inner and outer cylindrical conveying channels. In upper part of internal conveying channel there is a funnel-shaped hopper with outlet slot, to which is mounted a control device. Under it there are, one below other, stages of working members. They are secured to moving bearing element, passing along axis of separator. Each stage of working members comprises series-mounted conical grain surface, located with larger base directed downwards, and funnel-shaped loading-unloading receiver with outlet slot equipped with control device. Control devices are made in form of truncated cone with larger base directed downwards. Each stage of working members comprises multiple pitched conical surfaces located in stepwise manner with a gap between them, installed at an angle to horizontal, close to grain material natural slope angle. Lower grain conical surface with its larger base is located in separator, made in form of truncated cone installed parallel to conical grain surface. Conical grain surface is rough. Conical grain surfaces are configured to provide movement of upper layers of grain particles with considerably larger speeds than lower layers, and displacement of impurities in direction to open surface, and seeds - to base layer.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation owing to use of effects of segregation and migration in flow of granular medium on slope conical plane.
