FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an industrial station for separating granular materials, and, in particular, for classifying powders or similar materials with dynamic air separators. Dynamic air separator for separating materials made up of different sizes into particle-size fractions comprises a rotary cage above which the material to be treated is supplied, and a fine particle recovery chamber arranged coaxially in an extension of the rotary cage. Separator comprises fan wheel positioned coaxially to the fine particle recovery chamber. Fan wheel is located at an end of purified air outlet duct coming from the fine particle recovery chamber so as to suck in the air and send it toward an air distribution chamber around the rotary cage. Fan wheel is surrounded by an eclosing, making it possible to channel the air. Fan wheel is located above or below the rotary cage.
EFFECT: to increase the efficiency of separation.
