SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a smoking composition, which involves mixing fine tobacco with or without addition of cellulose-containing material, invert syrup, a softener and a flavouring agent, fermentation and packaging in a sealed container, wherein flavouring agent is prepared by extracting mixture of bay laurel and vanilla with liquid carbon dioxide with separation of corresponding miscella, addition thereof is carried out by impregnating tobacco mixture with separated miscella with simultaneous pressure increase, reducing pressure to atmospheric value with simultaneous freezing of tobacco mixture and separation of carbon dioxide by sublimation with simultaneous swelling of tobacco mixture.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of homogeneity of end product during storage.
