FIELD: personal use and household items.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to razor blades, and more specifically to novel coatings on razor edges. Razor blade has a pointed base containing at least one arranged on it layer based on aluminium-magnesium boride AlMgB14. In another embodiment, the razor blade includes a component containing at least one layer located on it based on aluminium-magnesium boride AlMgB14, note here that said component is a non-cutting element in the form of cartridge, component of the handle clamp outer or inner surface of the shaving NET. Method of producing a razor blade device includes provision of pointed base to outer surface of said base at least one layer based on aluminium-magnesium boride AlMgB14.
EFFECT: providing the required rigidity and/or low friction coefficient at the edges of razor blades, the improved characteristics of blades and simplified production.
