FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion systems on cryogenic fuel, and particularly to cryogenic propulsion device (1) comprising at least one sustainer engine (6) of multiple launching, first cryogenic tank (2) connected with mid-flight engine (6) for its supply first fuel component, first gas tank (4), at least one precipitating fuel engine (7, 8) and first feed circuit (16) for supply of first gas tank (4). Invention also relates to a method of supply of first gas tank (4) with first component of fuel in gaseous state. Said first feed circuit (16) of first gas tank (4) is connected to first cryogenic tank (2) and includes heat exchanger (19), which uses heat emitted by at least one precipitating fuel engine (7, 8), for evaporation of liquid flow of first fuel component from first cryogenic tank (2), for supply of first gas tank (4) with said first fuel component in gaseous state.
EFFECT: invention provides repeated pressurisation of cryogenic tank, supply of low-thrust engine and/or power control engines.
