SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of lining a pipeline and lining material for pipeline. Method of lining pipeline, comprising a bent section, includes a step of placing lining material and a step of increasing diameter of lining material. Lining material is produced by rolling sheet of lining material into a tubular shape, wherein both ends of sheet in its circumferential direction overlap along circumference of one another. At step of placing lining material is placed so that overlapping section, in which both ends of sheet lining material overlap one another, a curved portion of pipeline is directed to outer curved side of curved section.
EFFECT: invention provides a larger section of lining material, which faces outer curved side, thereby reducing gap between lining material and inner surface of curved section.
