FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment in the area of flow measurement of fluid media and can be used in design of flow meters for measuring of fluid medium. Designs of the tachometric flow meters which realize the method, include housing with antechamber, in which there is a flow swirler, and inlet channel, working chamber with diffuser with curved grooves on its surface and confuser with outlet channel. In the working chamber on cylinder axis there is a ball rotor. Diameter of the through hole of the rotor exceeds the diameter of cylindrical rod. On the rotor there is a permanent magnet magnetized perpendicular to axis of the through hole, or a ring magnet magnetized in parallel to the ring axis. Induction coil or electrodes differential capacitance transducer are fixed on the housing.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of hydraulic resistance, widening operating fluid speed range, excluding the possibility of resonant excitation of a spherical rotor in the working chamber.
