FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multiple-disk braking devices of the landing gear. Multiple-disk electromechanical brake comprises rotary brake disks connected to the housing by the splines and rotating together with it, and non-rotary brake disks, attached to the axis of the main landing gear. On alternating rotary and non-rotary brake disks made of magnetic material there are poles, oriented radially in plane of the brake disks and perpendicular to axis of rotation of the discs. On the axis of the main landing gear an electromagnet is fixed, axial poles of which are perpendicular to plane of the brake pads, as well as around circumference in plane, parallel to the rotating brake disk, pole position sensors of rotary brake disk are placed.
EFFECT: higher reliability of disc brakes.
