FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plastic lockers and is aimed at improving design of lockers. Method of making a locker uses a cabinet having a rear wall, a top, a base and opposite side walls. Side walls define support means for supporting and preferably engaging side edges of a shelf or cabinet divider, projecting into cabinet. Cabinet is configured to receive a door mounted to one side of cabinet by means of a hinge arrangement. Hinge arrangement includes one or more knuckles defined on door, and a series of projections extending along one side of cabinet, spaces being defined between projections for receiving a knuckle of a door therebetween. Support means are defined adjacent projections and between moulded recesses. Cabinet is moulded with a closed front face and front face is selectively removed to define one or more apertures. One or more dividers or shelves are then inserted into cabinet as required and one or more doors are attached to cabinet.

EFFECT: improved design of lockers.
