SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, specifically to fodder production. Method of increasing productivity of mammals comprises introduction into basic diet a water-soluble high-molecular polymer in an amount of 0.0005-0.003 g/kg of live weight for at least 7 days. High-molecular polymer corresponding to chemical formula [C8H16NCl]n, with molecular weight 3·105-1·107 Da is used.
EFFECT: invention ensures higher productivity of mammals, as well as improved physiological state of animals.
