FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for tight connection of movable parts of devices operating in food industry with liquids and gases. Sealing device is installed on hollow shaft in a compressor and includes a housing with a detachable cover in form of a shell fastened to housing by means of welded to cylindrical protrusion of housing threaded elements passing through openings of lugs of shell, and housing is fixed to cover by nuts. Sealing element with conical surface is, rigidly fitted on shaft, a metal thin-wall cylinder with conical-cylindrical expansion at side of cover attachment with an inner groove in expansion with sealing ring of circular section. Ring rests against threaded sleeve screwed into shaft and having due to expansion a fit it protrusion. Behind protrusion on it is worn a clamping ring made in form of a sleeve with cylindrical protrusion, adjacent to protrusion of threaded sleeve and clamping end of pressure spring. Other end of spring is pressed to cover of sleeve with protrusion adjacent to inner side of cover and proportionate to it. On other side of cylinder between its outer surface and inner surface of housing from its end and to threaded elements there are two movable guide bushings, between which there is a movable cuff. To lower edge of cover adjoins a pressure element with conical surface in form of a sleeve with conical-cylindrical expansion at its end on side of cover. Bushing is coupled by inner conical surface of expansion with surface of conical expansion of sealing cylinder and has at beginning of cylindrical part of expansion a groove for a second sealing ring of circular section between said bushing and bottom edge of cover.

EFFECT: higher wear resistance of sealing device.
